Therapy Localization

Therapy Localization · Therapy Localization (Latin)

RU: Локализация

Therapy Localization (TL; German Therapielokalisation) is a diagnostic technique of Applied Kinesiology (#54) in which the subject touches a specific body zone with their own hand, while the practitioner simultaneously tests the indicator muscle (T094).

The Mechanism of TL

  1. The practitioner establishes the baseline response of the indicator muscle (strong)
  2. The subject touches a body zone (for example, an organ projection, a meridian point, a tooth)
  3. The practitioner immediately retests the muscle
  4. If the response has changed (weakening)the system records an imbalance in that zone

What TL Provides

A wordless dialogue with the body. TL allows the practitioner to sequentially "ask" the body about zones of tension without medical history or self-report. It is a direct dialogue with the nervous system.

Closing the reflex circuit. The method rests on the idea that touch closes a neuro-reflex circuit, changing proprioceptive input.

Limitation of the Method

TL shows "where", not "what". Importantly: TL shows the presence of an imbalance, but not its character. To clarify, a "Challenge" is used — a provocation test (applying a substance, changing position).

In Errarium

A complement to MMT. In Errarium, TL is an instrument of the D2 axis, complementing the Muscle Test (T093). MMT + TL = the basic kinesiological protocol.

Translation note

Retain as 'therapy localization'. Provide context in parentheses when first mentioned.
