Therapy Localization
Therapy Localization · Therapy Localization (Latin)
RU: Локализация
Therapy Localization (TL; German Therapielokalisation) is a diagnostic technique of Applied Kinesiology (#54) in which the subject touches a specific body zone with their own hand, while the practitioner simultaneously tests the indicator muscle (T094).
The Mechanism of TL
- The practitioner establishes the baseline response of the indicator muscle (strong)
- The subject touches a body zone (for example, an organ projection, a meridian point, a tooth)
- The practitioner immediately retests the muscle
- If the response has changed (weakening) — the system records an imbalance in that zone
What TL Provides
A wordless dialogue with the body. TL allows the practitioner to sequentially "ask" the body about zones of tension without medical history or self-report. It is a direct dialogue with the nervous system.
Closing the reflex circuit. The method rests on the idea that touch closes a neuro-reflex circuit, changing proprioceptive input.
Limitation of the Method
TL shows "where", not "what". Importantly: TL shows the presence of an imbalance, but not its character. To clarify, a "Challenge" is used — a provocation test (applying a substance, changing position).
In Errarium
A complement to MMT. In Errarium, TL is an instrument of the D2 axis, complementing the Muscle Test (T093). MMT + TL = the basic kinesiological protocol.
Translation note
Retain as 'therapy localization'. Provide context in parentheses when first mentioned.
